Schleich Fire Salamander

Oh, a fire salamander! You can count yourself lucky if you see this particularly beautiful amphibian in the forest or along a stream. It is usually out and about at night. During the day, it prefers to hide in a hole in the ground or a cave. Although it is so strikingly marked with its black and yellow pattern, most animals keep their distance. This is because it is poisonous. However, this specimen here can be stroked safely by friends.
